This week's message is that you have to have a plan. Having a plan could change your life. First, let's address what a plan is. A plan is a roadmap for your life. It's the direction for your life. A plan for yourself can be life-changing.
Do you currently have a plan for what you do day in and day out? Do you have your plan written out on paper? If you answer yes to both of those, that would be fantastic. And if your answer is no, guess what? That's completely okay. Let's break down how you can get started and how simple it is.
First, for the people who answered yes, keep up the great work and realize it takes courage to keep showing up and doing that. For my people who answered no, let's talk and break it down for you. Let's break it down in steps.
Step 1: find a quiet space where you can think. Leave the technology behind.
Step 2: Bring a paper and pen.
Step 3: Put a timer on your phone for 10-15 mins. You don't want to burn yourself out by trying this first try.
Step 4: Write each day, Monday through Friday, about how you want each day to look after yourself and your family if you are parents.
Step 5: You have to believe in what you are writing. Let's call it what it is: LIFE. Everything may not go according to schedule, which is okay. Don't beat yourself up if it does.
Let's get to work! The work starts today of planning out your days. The wise man once said, "A man without a plan has direction." You have a plan. You have direction. It's like reading a road map to your destination.
